Moorland, Pt. III
[January, 2024]
(it is dark outside, and so is my heart)

In mid-December, I came by this place by mountain bike during one of my tours. It was quite windy and frosty but still I realized that I wanted to photograph this place. I cancelled my trip, rode home and came back as fast as I could. Unfortunately, the storm already had picked up momentum and I wasn't satisfied with the results. Of course, standing in between those trees still was amazing, the loudly swoosh above my head. About a week later, I was fortunate to get fog again but with less wind. These images are, except for the cover photo, the result of the second try. Truth is, I came back again, this time with lots of hoarfrost, covering all of those trees and branches much more beautiful than snow ever could. As always, I'm looking forward to publish these results as well soon. If there’s anything to conclude, then likely that it’s worth to patently wait.
